🔮 Tarot symbolism
The Ten of Pentacles shows a prosperous family scene — an old man sits beneath an arch with two dogs, a young couple stands nearby, a child plays. Ten coins are arranged in the shape of the tree of life across the arch, each one a generation's accumulation. The old man looks not at the young people but into the distance — reviewing, perhaps wondering what he brought to this family. The card says: you are the bridge between past and future.
🧠 Jungian archetype
The energy of the Ten is a cycle completed and passed on, and in earth it appears as the final integration of the material world — not personal but across generations. Ten is the family unconscious made visible: you carry your ancestors' wisdom and their unfinished lessons. In individuation, the Ten of Pentacles is the widest view — you aren't only you; you're a stretch of a river. And you can change the direction of the water in your stretch. That takes enormous courage in the face of family shadow.

Rock Rose is the essence for extreme fear — the frozen, paralysing kind. In the context of the Ten of Pentacles, that fear concerns facing the deepest patterns of inheritance: the things nobody ever said and everybody repeated.
